"Last year I bought a Simplehuman bin, great design good quality and price. Unfortunately the bracket on the lid broke. I fixed it but only lasted a short while. Contacted customer service to enquire if I could get a replacement part. Much to my delight, they not only had the part but an upgrade to brushed metal and sent a pair out to me free of charge under the guarantee. Due to the slimline shape the bin liner comes out easier, it has a bigger capacity but takes less room. The best kitchen product and definitely the best bin I have ever purchased. "Although everyone loved it they thought we were crazy to pay £85 for a rubbish bin, I didn't care I loved my butterfly bin. After 6 years wear and tear the lid broke. After 2 house moves there was no chance I still had the receipt and I wasn't very optimistic when I called SimpleHuman. I spoke to an extremely efficient and pleasant lady in customer service last Thursday and on Saturday a replacement lid arrived which was brushed steel so an upgrade from the black one I had. This was completely free of charge and with idiot proof instructions as to how to replace the old one. That's why I paid what I did for my rubbish bin! Excellent service and a superb product."

"A huge thank you to your company. Having purchased a simplehuman waste bin, via B & Q, about 18 months ago, the closing mechanism broke a few days ago. As it was out of B and Q guarantee I realised that there was little point going back to them. But as I love my bin, I contacted your company for assistance - expecting to get a negative/run-around response, as is so often the result these days. Not so! A lovely lady immediately recognised and accepted the difficulty, and offered to send out a replacement catch to resolve the problem. In under 24 hours the replacement arrived - for free - no need for me to prove that I had ever purchased the bin even!!!
All is now working perfectly, and I only wish that all companies demonstrated your level of customer service and efficiency - sadly a rare commodity in today's market.

"I was very sad that my bin top was broken as it’s a perfect size and did cost rather a lot of money and I like it a lot so I contacted simplehuman to enquire about whether obtaining a replacement top could be an option. The customer services were really good as I didn’t really have a clue as to which specification my bin was they told me how to find out and I even sent a photo to ensure it was right, which they confirmed. I am so happy to have my bin working properly again and thought the service provided was most excellent."

"I wanted to write to let you know what fantastic customer services I received last week from 2 of your customer service representatives. I bought one of your rectangular bins about a year ago and recently the plastic lid broke. When I phoned your helpline number a lady called Rose answered and was so helpful and arranged for a replacement stainless steel lid without delay, any questions or more importantly any hassle. Rose was polite and courteous and made me feel like a valued customer.
On receiving the lid a couple of days later, I couldn’t find the instructions on how to fit it, so I phoned again and this time spoke to Christine. She apologised and said she would email them to me right away. After a couple of hours I hadn’t received the email, so I phoned back and spoke to Rose again. Rose suggested it may have gone into my ‘junk folder’, which it had.
I now have a fully functioning bin again. Thank you very much for your team’s wonderful service, they are an asset to your company, and also for making me feel like my problem was your problem and not the other way around. I will definitely recommend your products to my family and friends."
