How do I register for the product guarantee?

You can register your product online at simplehuman.co.uk. Please fill out the product registration form under the customer services section. If you decide not to register your product on the website, please retain a copy of your proof of purchase.

How do I clean my bin?

Our bins are made from stainless steel and should clean up easily with warm water and a soft cloth. Our micro-fiber sponge mitt dampened with water is especially effective for cleaning stainless steel without leaving any streak marks.

I purchased your liners and noticed there are holes on the top. What is the purpose of these holes?

The holes in the liners are done by design to release trapped air that results when a new bag is put into a can. The holes eliminate the bulging effect, thereby maximizing the total capacity of each bag. We've tested the design extensively, and there's no risk of tearing, or breaking of the bag because of the holes. In fact, the bag seems more likely to be torn when there are no holes, because with the bulging, people need to force things into the bag.
